The K200 uses Wiegand communication between the integrated, multi-technology reader and an access control system to deliver full access control to cabinets and drawers. It functions with one CAT5 cable providing power and data. The primary purpose of this solution is identify a visitor before they are granted entry to a facility. This versatility is due to the unique removable fascia available only on the 4200 electric strike. This is accomplished by putting a stainless steel faceplate, aluminum fascia and trim skirt, as well as a dark bronze faceplate, fascia, and trim skirt in the box. The color change does not require the electric strike mechanism to be opened. In addition to being able to match most frames with one box, the 4200 also has the tallest latch cavity among strikes in its class. At 2-13/16" tall, the 4200 provides flexibility for door issues that may occur on site (competitor model's offer cavity heights of 1-1/2" & 1-7/16"). Total backset is a shallow 1-1/16" making it great for aluminum frames any frame with tight space constraints.
