B 6 BIG BOOK SPRING 2016 | SouthComm Security Media www.SecurityInfoWatch.com Next Generation IN100 Aperio Wireless Lock from ASSA ABLOY Available from ASSA ABLOY Group brands Corbin Russwin and SARGENT, the next generation IN100 offers the conve- nience and flexibility of ASSA ABLOY's Aperio wireless tech- nology with the real-time communication of online access control, enabling remote lock or unlock in less than 10 seconds. Ideal for facilities such as schools or corporate office buildings, the IN100 is designed with ANSI/BHMA Grade 1 hardware and is available in cylindrical lock, mor- tise lock and exit device configurations. The IN100 uses Aperio wireless technology to allow facilities to leverage existing security infrastructure to easily expand access control coverage more quickly and affordably. The lock also features HID® multiCLASS SE® technology to provide simultaneous support for multiple credential types and HID Mobile Access® powered by Seos®. A patent-pending credential cache is also available to ensure access when the lock is offline from the electronic access control system. Designed for easy integration into existing access control systems, the IN100 communicates wirelessly to an Aperio hub, which connects to the access control system using Ethernet, RS-485 or Wiegand wiring. The IN100 is available with a black or white reader and is offered in a broad range of finishes and levers. It also suites with the IN Series of access control locks, allowing facilities to have a consistent aesthetic throughout the building regardless of technology. Hallmarks of the 3101C design include a complete electronics update, incorporating the following significant enhancements: • 12/24 VAC/VDC auto-input voltage detection. • Up to 49% reduced current draw. • Advanced residual magnetism mitigation circuitry. • Full, backward-compatibility of circuit board with 3101B Series legacy product. • Field-programmable firmware, via on-board USB interface (Legacy product currently requires hardware re-purchase, to modify firmware, to address special code/sequencing requirements). The 3101C is mechanically-identical to the current 3101B Series Delayed Egress Lock. Mounting procedures and templating remain unchanged, to facilitate retrofits of existing 3101B Locks. As the 3101C's terminal layout is identical to the 3101B Series, wiring procedures will also be transparent to experienced 3101B field technicians. With the introduction of the 3101C Series, all production of the outdated 3101A Series, first-generation lock will be discontinued as/of April 1, 2014. Returns will continue to be serviced under the terms of the DynaLife® Lifetime Warranty. New purchase orders for 3101B Series Locks after March 1, 2014 will be upgraded to the 3101C Series product, at no additional cost to the customer. The 3101B Series will remain available upon specific request and for OEM partners, until further factory notice is given.
